As Managing Partner, Simon Chadwick leads the team of practice leaders. He has over 35 years of experience in the research industry, and has led research companies in Europe and the United States, most recently as the global CEO of NOP World. He is an acknowledged industry leader, author and conference speaker.
Simon founded Cambiar in 2004 with the aim of providing strategic assistance to research companies as they confronted rapid and fundamental change in the industry. Simon is a Fellow of the Market Research Society. He holds an MA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University, England, and has done post-graduate studies at both Columbia and Harvard business schools in Change Management and Strategic Management.
In addition to his role at Cambiar, Simon is also Chairman of the Insights Association and Editor-in-Chief of Research World, ESOMAR’s global magazine.
Prior to merging with Cambiar in 2014, Michael served as a M&A advisor to over thirty research companies as Managing Partner with Transition Strategies, handling international projects and leading consulting work. Before joining Transition Strategies, Michael was Executive Vice President and a shareholder at Response Analysis Corporation, which is now part of GfK. He directed finance, operations, technology, and human resources as well as handled two of the company’s largest accounts.
Michael has been Treasurer and served on the Board of Directors of the Council of American Survey Research Organizations (CASRO), the U.S. full-service survey research trade group, and is an active member of AAPOR. He has also served on the Advisory Board of the Marketing Research Association. Michael speaks regularly at industry conferences on topics related to finance and M&A activities. Michael holds an MBA from New York University and a BA cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania where he was a Benjamin Franklin Scholar.
Lock Collins is an industry expert in Talent Management and HR leadership. His broad Human Resources experience in the market research and technology industries has included organizational development and planning, recruitment and selection, assessment, compensation strategies, and performance management. He has held global HR leadership positions in a number of research companies including Research International and NOP World. His technology industry experience includes Honeywell, and Emerson Electric where he was stationed in London with Human Resources leadership responsibilities for Europe and the Middle East.
Lock has a Bachelor’s degree in Public Affairs from St. Cloud State University. He has also completed additional coursework in Coaching at New York University.
Ian Lewis led corporate research departments at Pfizer, Unilever, and at Time Inc. he spearheaded a magazine development process whose successes included Real Simple, while growing a department from five to thirty-five staff and moving from being order-takers to thought partners. Ian’s recent focus has been on training to increase business impact for corporate and agency researchers, and on the future of research. Ian is a frequent speaker at industry events including AMA, MRA and PMRG, and has published articles in Research World, JAR, IJMR and Quirk’s and (along with Simon Chadwick) a chapter in the Sage Publications book Leading Edge Marketing Research: 21st Century Tools and Practices. He holds a MS in Statistics from Southampton University, England.

Richard Scionti brings a wealth of knowledge in IT infrastructure, operations, product development, and data analytics. He has led teams in a number of the most significant global research agencies including Research International (RI), TNS, Harris and GfK.
Most recently, as GfK’s Global Head, CE Business Applications, Richard was responsible for managing the launch of Echo 2.0, the company’s customer experience management platform and a new tracking platform, Brand Vivo on Demand.
Whether at Prophet Brand Strategy, Harris or TNS, Richard has lead the charge to create a new visual analytics service, designed and launched an innovative social media analytics platform or lead global initiatives to drive operational efficiency and streamlined workflows.
Whatever the challenge - new product conception and management; operational efficiency; or knowledge sharing - Richard has demonstrated a consistent ability to bring data and technology together to help businesses innovate.
Richard studied economics at Boston College and has a diploma in computer programming from CPI. He recently received a certificate from MIT for their “Tackling the Challenges of Big Data” program.

David Rosenblatt leads our Research and Business Operations Practice. He is an accomplished senior executive, having held leadership roles in world class research organizations as well as leading his own consulting practice. His experience in all aspect of Research Company Operations, combined with a background in financial management and planning, brings to Cambiar’s clients a full suite of tools in process and product management that complement those in in our financial, strategy, talent and technology practices.
David brings extensive experience gained in both Syndicated and Primary Market Research areas through senior roles at industry leaders such as Management Decision Systems, Information Resources, IPSOS, Research International, MarketTools and most recently, MetrixLabs.
He has always focused on helping companies improve their competitive position through operational excellence coupled with a pragmatic view on efficiency, cost and team.
Representative areas of focus include Change Management/Business Transformation, Business Development, Sales Operations, Research Operations, and Outsourcing/Offshoring.
David received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Renssellaer Polytechnic Institute and his Master’s in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
