Service Packages

Many of Cambiar's clients come to our firm with a range of ongoing issues which cannot always be neatly defined into an assignment or project. Rather, they would prefer to have access to one or more of Cambiar's partners on an ongoing basis, utilizing our talents as they see fit and when they see fit.

In response to this demand, Cambiar has created a number of Service Packages to try and meet the need of managers and owners whose situations may differ but who all have a requirement for consulting assistance in one form or another.

As always, your needs are paramount, so you can count on us to be flexible and tailor each of these to your specific requirements.

Mentor Level: $2,000 a month

This level is designed for managers who desire a mentoring relationship in which they can contact one or more of our consultants at times of their choosing to discuss issues of relevance at the time. Or, alternatively, they may wish to spend an hour a week on the phone with a consultant to progress an issue of importance to them.

A client that buys the Mentor Level service package is entitled to 4 hours of consulting assistance per month, usually over the phone, plus up to 5 email conversations per month. An email conversation is defined as an email string of up to 5 messages and may cover as many issues as are relevant to the client.

Coach Level: $5,000 a month

A client may choose to use the Coach Level service package to receive more intensive coaching assistance or perhaps to receive ongoing advice on a long-term project.

At this level, the client would be assigned a Cambiar partner on a long-term relationship basis, dependant on the type of coaching needed or the type of project being considered. This level entitles the client to a half day initial meeting at his or her offices (within the contiguous United States - travel costs extra) plus 10 hours of phone consulting per month. In addition, the client may hold up to 12 email conversations per month with his or her consultant.

Advisory Level: $8,000 a month

A client may choose this level to engage one or more Cambiar consultants on key issues of strategy or implementation where they require both advice and some degree of hands-on assistance.

At this level, the client would receive 20 hours of consulting assistance, either at their offices or by phone. (Travel costs would be charged at cost and return-trip travel time would be counted as two hours of consulting). Email conversations would be unlimited and the client may expect that the consultant would provide agreed-upon deliverables to aid in the issue under consideration.

Management Level: $20,000 a month

This level is designed for clients who need an extra manager on a part-time basis to help them achieve specific medium- and long-term goals in their business.

Cambiar consultants would be available one day a week on the client's premises to fulfill a specific role (for example, Chief Operating, Marketing or Human Resources Officer). Travel would be charged at cost, but no charge is made for travel time within the contiguous US. Clients may expect that Cambiar consultants would play an active part in the management of the operation and that they would continue to act in their specified role even when not at the client's office. Phone and email communications would be unlimited.
