How do I get the most from my senior executive team?

Because Cambiar’s consultants have all built and led senior executive teams at top market research companies, we have been in your shoes and know what works and what doesn’t. We work directly with executives and executive teams to maximize their performance.

Executive Coaching and Mentoring

Cambiar offers a range of coaching and mentoring services at various management levels and to varying degrees of intensity, dependent on your individual needs. These may include

  • Regular and frequent in-person coaching sessions
  • Phone-based, structured coaching
  • On demand mentoring, in person, by phone or by e-mail (or a mix of all three)
  • Mentoring or coaching on specific projects
  • On-going management advice.

In all cases, the managers involved are coached or mentored by one of Cambiar’s principals against specific objectives designed and agreed to by the mentee and his or her managers.

Executive Team Effectiveness

Acting by the principle that adults learn best by doing, we focus the team on an important business issue – such as developing a new strategic growth plan or solving a particularly thorny problem. After reflecting on what’s working well and what can be improved, we challenge the team to immediately apply what they’ve learned. One-on-one coaching complements team sessions.

Leading and Driving Change

Even when your goals are well defined, circumstances – a changing marketplace, an evolving client base, or even unexpected growth – may hinder effective implementation. In these cases, Cambiar will work with you to

  • identify the causes of change
  • identify and assess its impact on the company’s operations
  • isolate the actions necessary to master the change process
  • design and implement a plan of action
  • communicate the plan to managers and staff.

Our proprietary change management model is customized based on your specific company culture and change management issues and needs. Through facilitated workshops, we assist your executive team in drive lasting change by working with them to articulate your desired future state, assess your organization’s current state, and establish a Change Management Plan to bridge the gap between the two. We continue to support your management team as they execute their Change Management Plan.
